We are an established education research and development organization under the name and style “National Institute of Research & Education” (NIRE). The organization is engaged in provision of services to education and development sector for the last 15 years. The organization serves private and public sector educational set ups through, development/marketing text books series, providing most advanced teachers trainings, undertaking advisory services, handling special assignments, and pursuing large scale literacy/informal education programmes through, NGOs, national and international organizations. We have vast experience in business and socio-economic development of the North West Frontier Province, FATA and Pakistan. Our services in the development sector includes project proposals, surveys & surveys reports, impact assessment studies, potential identification studies, feasibility and investment reports, need assessment studies, periodical project review reports, institutional strengthening, monitoring & evaluation reports, staff training and capacity buildings
NIRE is Pakistan's leader in education research, curriculum development, literacy, and teachers’ trainings. We have offices and dedicated representatives in all big cities of Pakistan. NIRE has a team of highly experienced foreign-trained experts including Educational Psychologist, Child Psychologists, Senior Educationists, Language Experts, Curriculum Specialists and Literacy Experts.
NIRE is known for its expertise in the development and presentation of teachers training programs/courses, research facilitation, and the distribution of research-based information on the topics of ADULT LITERACY, NON FORMAL PRIMARY EDUCATION, PRE-PRIMARY and PRIMARY education. NIRE provides training programs, public awareness and education strategies; designs educational curricula; and operates SCHOOL SUPPORT CENTRES all over Pakistan. All of NIRE services, products and initiatives are research based, extensively evaluated and field-tested.
More than 3000 top class private public schools are teaching our Pre-Primary and Primary Syllabus in a most effective manner all over the country. We are also training thousands of thousand teachers of our clients’ schools and fresh graduates/masters throughout the country. Each year we train more than 10,000 teachers throughout the country in all the four provinces under Schools Support Programme and around 2000 teachers are trained under our short term and long term specialized training courses.
NIRE has been working on literacy for over 15 years now. We have setup and run over 6000 literacy centers to date, and made over 130,000 people literate in Pakistan. The literacy system has been implemented in more than 50 districts of the country and the results of the programme are outstanding. We are running our literacy programme with the support of national/international, govt./semi-govt. organizations, NGOs., corporate sector, and welfare institutions in all the four provinces, FATA, AJK and Northern Areas. Our Literacy Programme is based on scientific approach, low cost and the most effective learning system in the country.
We have extended education advisory services/literacy programmes to several national and international organization like World Bank, UNICEF, UNESCO, ILO, Agha Khan Foundation, British Council, IMC, World Vision, National Commission for Human Development, GTZ, Rotary International, Lions Club, IRSP, NRSP, SRSP, HDF, National Foods Limited, Hinopak Limited, Crescent Group, Nishat Group, SNGPL, Biscuits, several NGOs. and Corporations.
We have sound knowledge of the target areas including geographical locations, physical infrastructure, administrative setup, geo-political situation, socio-economic conditions, traditions and social norms.. We have managerial and technical resources to handle the proposed project in effective manner. Professional managerial and technical staff members could be easily deployed to proposed project. We are an education research and development organization. We have developed research based and the most scientific Formal, Informal, IT and Literacy education systems.
